How to Stop Ants
There are a few things you can do to stop ants from coming into your house. If you follow these simple steps you will have success keeping those little pests out of your house.
Things You’ll Need:
3-1 oil
Spray bottle
Vinegar
Onion
Alcohol
Water
Instructions:
Step 1
The first thing you need to do is find the entry point for the ants. It?s nearly impossible to stop an ant problem if you don?t find the entry point.
Step 2
Once you have found the entry point you should apply a liberal amount of three in one oil at that location. You may have to do this several days in a row to make sure its well coated.

Step 3
If there are still ants that are persistent you can spray them with a water and vinegar mixture (half and half) in a small sprayer. The ants do not like the water and the vinegar will actually repel the ants from the area.

Step 4
Another way to repel ants is to place a small piece of onion in the areas ants seem to congregate. The smell of the onion will force the ants away.
